There's a big gap between the ideal and the real worlds. While it's admirable you want to serve the greatest amount of people with limited resources, this simply isn't possible. You'll have to make some difficult choices. Ultimately, you should help those who will benefit most from assistance. People with a history of drug abuse or crime are at a high risk to repeat their mistakes. You're better off helping those who are temporarily down on their luck.

Today I found a feather..On the bed that my buddy Benji slept.I know that might not sound like anything special...and there is always an explanation for everything...but there was just one solitary feather, exactly were Benji lay.
A grey and white feather....Maybe Benji brought It in with him on one of his walks...Maybe.
Or maybe before I went out the other day, never cleaned up as good as I thought I had and missed the feather when I made the bed...maybe
And maybe It had been there all the time and I just did`nt notice It.....
I don't know were this little grey and white feather came from...and may never know.
I need to make sense of It in my own head...but right now It gives me a sense of comfort...I can only hope It was a gift from my buddy

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

A simple red ribbon is one of the most widely recognized symbols of HIV and AIDS and the people who live with these conditions. The symbol was presented by the Visual AIDS Artists Caucus in 1991. The individuals in this group wished to remain anonymous, keep the image copyright free and create a symbol to raise consciousness of HIV and AIDS. The red ribbon was originally intended to be worn as a badge, but is now used in a wide variety of ways.

The aim of this project is to collect 1.5 million butterflies - each one a representation of a child who's life was sacrificed during the Holocaust.

I`ve been letting my creativity and imagination run riot by "escaping into my own reality"...

It`s been a fun old time experimenting with a variety of new "to me" ideas and techniques to create these unique pieces of artwork (even If I must say so myself).
The techniques I have used include painting, stamping, writing , tearing, cutting, folding, stitching, waxing and colouring my own fun bits, to make the altered artwork above.

The Images above show the front and back of the art pieces...."got to figure out what to do with them now that they are complete".

I designed the Images, then placed them onto wooden pieces using gel medium...I then varnished each piece to protect It...My only problem is deciding what to do next.."I dont think they would be durable enough to use as keyrings",unless someone can give me a tip on how to create a good strong sealent.
